      The state institution «Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics» of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus is the leading medical institution in the field of traumatologic and orthopedic assistance to children and adults in the Republic of Belarus. The center provides a full range of medical services in the field of traumatology and orthopedics, including for foreign citizens on a fee basis

      To restore the ability to move after a trauma, to return to a normal way of life with a congenital or acquired disease, when simply stepping or waving the hand without pain is not a luxury. After visiting our Center, a natural movement will become possible!

                                   The main directions of medical services are:

• Treatment of congenital and acquired diseases of the bones of the skeleton and joints
• Treatment of patients with acute and complicated trauma
• Treatment of patients with injuries of the spine and spinal cord
• Endoprosthetics
• Arthroscopy
• Treatment of patients with diseases of the spine
• Surgical treatment with intervertebral hernias and correction for various types of orthopedic deformities of the spine (scoliosis and kyphosis).

       Specialists of the State Institution «Republican Scientific and Practical Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics» developed and introduced into practice modern technologies of minimally invasive osteosynthesis in fractures of limb bones, operations for severe injuries of the pelvic and femur bones are performed, the entire volume of modern specialized care for trauma to the spine is provided.

      Complex treatment of patients with diseases of the spine, including surgical treatment with intervertebral hernias and correction for various types of orthopedic deformations of the spine (scoliosis and kyphosis) is carried out.

      Each year, the Center’s staff advise about 30,000 patients, perform more than 6,000 operations:
600 hip arthroplasty;
250 knee arthroplasty;
600 arthroscopic operations;
1000 operations on the spine.

      Inpatient treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system is carried out with the use of modern medical technology in superior chambers.
