Gorodok District Museum of Local Lore
Initially, the museum was located in the building of the former children's library, and in 1996 it received a new building in the city center, which previously belonged to the People's Court, now it is one of the most beautiful buildings in the Town.
The museum has three exhibition halls and three exhibition halls.
1. The exposition of the Department of Nature is located in two halls: information and diorama. The information hall includes paleontological exhibits, photographs, maps-diagrams of the natural environment of the Gorodok region, the Red Book of the Gorodok district, etc. Three dioramas are also presented here: "Oak Grove. Giant Oak", "Apocalypse", "White–tailed Eagle". The diorama hall of the Nature department includes five dioramas: "Forest", "Riding swamp", "Meadow. Pond", "Birds on the lake", "Water nut". About 100 species of insects are presented in separate showcases.
2. The permanent exhibition "Hall of Ethnography and Folk crafts of Gorodok region" consists of four sections: "The life of a peasant in the late 19th – early 20th centuries" (a fragment of a peasant hut, chambers), "Traditional women's and men's crafts", "Beliefs of our ancestors" (art canvases of temples of Gorodok region, objects of worship, ritual objects), "The life of the inhabitants of the Town and county" (diorama "Fair in the Town", a fragment of a shop).
3. The long-term exhibition on the second floor "Victory Roads" tells about the period of occupation and liberation of the Gorodok district during the Great Patriotic War.
Replacement exhibitions from the museum's funds are held in the exhibition halls of the first and second floors.
A literary and artistic composition "Konstantin Verenitsyn and his poem "Taras on Parnassus" was opened near the museum building. On two large boulders there are memorial plaques with information about the poem and its author.
The museum will introduce you to the history of the "North Pole" of Belarus, take you back in time and show the life and traditions of local residents, surprise you with unusual fertility symbols found in this area, tell you about the outstanding people of the Gorodok region, tell you what it's like to live 2.5 years in occupation under the yoke of Fascist-German invaders during the Great Patriotic War and to wait for the fighting, which entails not only losses, but also the liberation of the area.

- for visitors: Tue. – Sun. from 10:00 to 19:00 (lunch from 14:00 to 15:00), day off - Monday;
- administration: Mon. – Fri. from 9:00 to 18:00 (lunch from 14:00 to 15:00), weekends - Saturday and Sunday.
