Holy Nativity-The Theotokos Stavropol Convent
The female Basilian Uniate monastery arose at the Prechistinsky Church around 1633. The beginning of the monastery is associated with the arrival of Abbess Vasilisa and four nuns from Vilna, who, with the permission of Metropolitan Joseph, temporarily settled at the Cathedral Prechistinsky Church.

During the hostilities of 1654-1667, the church's archive, bells, and all the interior decoration were destroyed. As a result of the fire, the church burned down, and a new wooden church had to be built in its place. In 1720, during a fire, the temple and cells burned down again. The temple was restored according to the project of architect Joseph Fotan III. The architectural complex consists of a united church, a residential monastic building and a chapel (winter church). The chapel was attached to the eastern end of the residential building in the middle of the XVIII century. It is a rectangular volume in the classical style. In 1843 after the abolition of the Union, the monastery and the Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos were transferred to the Orthodox Church.

During the First World War, the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin suffered greatly and was restored only in 1929 under the supervision of Abbess Onufriya. In 1958, the monastery was closed, and the nuns were evicted to the Zhirovichi monastery. In 1961, the monastery was transferred to the Grodno Regional DOSAAF Committee. In 1976, the entire complex was transferred to the Republican Museum of Atheism and the History of Religion. In June 1992, the church and monastery buildings were returned to the Orthodox convent and since that time, the Holy Nativity-the Theotokos Women's Orthodox Monastery has been operating here.
