The memorial sign was installed in 1980, in honor of the 1000th anniversary of the founding of Turov. It is a granite stele. A bronze board in the form of a shield is fixed on the smooth surface. Just below, the legend of how the city originated is engraved in ancient font.
The monument is located in a beautiful place — on the embankment, from where the panorama of the Strumen River opens. Behind the attraction there is an information stand with a story about where storks fly in winter. It will also be interesting to get acquainted with it.
