The composition, opened on the eve of the Border Guard Day, is a stone depicting border guards and border posts with the coats of arms of the USSR and Belarus. 

The memorial sign was erected at the expense of voluntary donations of reserve soldiers, as well as with the support of the Belynichi district executive committee. The idea of creating the sign was initiated by the Belynichi district organization of the NGO "Belarusian Union of Veterans of the Border Service".

The memorial sign will perpetuate the feat of all border guards who defended the borders of their native land.
