The Nature Museum was inaugurated in 1998. The purpose of its creation was to demonstrate the greatness, diversity and beauty of the nature of the surroundings of Turov and the Zhitkovichi district of the Gomel region.

The exposition is aimed primarily at the school audience. It is formed in such a way that children increase their knowledge of ecology and biology, develop a love for the world around them, and there is an understanding that everything in our world is interconnected.

In 2016, the museum underwent reconstruction. The exposition was equipped with touch-sensitive tablets and convenient consoles with sound, visual and tactile effects. Thanks to this improvement, it has become more popular and interesting. The complex even entered the top ten most informative and fascinating museums in Belarus.
