The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, an architectural monument in the style of the Vilna Baroque, 16th century
The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is located in the city center. Dyatlovo. It was built in 1646 by Kazimir Lev Sapega, as evidenced by the inscription on the pediment in Latin:" For the glory of Almighty God and in honor of the Ascension of the Most Pure, this temple was built by Kazimir Lev Sapega, subchancellor of the Incl., Slonimsky Derzhavtsa 1646 N. H.". The Dyatlovsky Church is noted for its high artistic qualities.  The church belongs to the original architectural monuments of the 1st half of the XVII century, which combine the features of the Renaissance, early Baroque with elements of Gothic.

When in 1624 the owner of Dyatlovo Lev Sapega decided to build a stone church, he could not place it as required by religious canons - from east to west. All sides of the square were closely built up, were privately owned and it was impossible to place the church as required. I had to stand as it now stands – the apse and the altar are oriented north-south.
