Klichevsky Museum of Local Lore
The first thing a visitor sees when opening the door to the Klichevsky Museum of Local Lore is a stylized exhibition complex "open book". On its pages are the words of F. Skoriny about a person's deep attachment to the place where he was born:

"... The animals that walk in the desert know their holes,

Birds flying through the air, know their nests…

So are the people where they were born and nurtured by God's will,

They have great love for that place..."

As if turning the pages of this conditional book, you, dear visitor, have the opportunity to get acquainted with different periods of the history of the region.

The archeology hall is an opportunity to "travel back" to the distant past: to find out which Slavic tribes inhabited the local lands, to see the tools, weapons and household items of ancient man, his jewelry, to imagine what our distant ancestors looked like. A set of women's jewelry is of particular value. One of the most unique and interesting finds is a pendant-medallion with the image of a bird holding a bunch of grapes in its beak.

The exposition of the hall "River and Man" will tell about the flora and fauna of reservoirs, industrial enterprises that operated on the coast of the Olsa River at the beginning of the twentieth century.

The largest enterprise on the coast was the Gringauz glass factory, which operated until 1915. The factory produced pharmacy tableware, bottles, window glass, tableware, etc.

The exposition of the hall "Culture and life of farmers" introduces the variety of customs and rituals of the ancestors of Belarusians, gives an idea of the crafts and crafts of the late XIX – early XX centuries. The exhibition presents household items, unique samples of costumes, handbrakes, bedding made by the hands of Belarusian women. With such love, the patterns woven and embroidered almost 100 years ago give a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the language of symbols that our ancestors-farmers possessed. When conducting excursions in the hall, elements of theatricalization and reconstruction of historical events are actively used, listening to ritual Belarusian songs performed by the children's folklore group "Kupalochka".

The hall "Holy Faces of Eternity" gives the visitor an opportunity to get in touch with the spiritual heritage of Belarusians. Here are the objects of the cult of Christians: Orthodox icons, crucifixes, candlesticks, church utensils, the gospel. A significant part of the presented collection was transferred to the museum by the Brest Customs.

The church hymn was of great importance for believers. During the mass events, the public is invited to listen to the psalm of Hieromonk Roman performed by the Honored Collective of the Republic of Belarus, the folk music ensemble and the song "Granary".

Hall "History of the Klichevskaya partisan zone".

The Partisan region. So they say about the Klichevskaya land. The history of the Klichevskaya partisan zone is one of the most interesting pages in the history of the region. During the Great Patriotic War, the Usakin forests became the center of the partisan movement of the entire Mogilev region, and the Klichev region became the edge of popular resistance. The Klichevskaya partisan zone became the largest in Belarus in terms of the number of fighters who defended it – 18 thousand people. The collection of exhibits presented in the exposition allows you to fully reveal the theme of the partisan movement. In this hall, history speaks to the visitor not only through photographs and documents. There are many objects - witnesses of the fighting, both partisans and soldiers and officers of the German army, which allow you to touch the events of that distant war. Among the artifacts: captured and partisan weapons, household items of partisans and soldiers of the German army, orders and medals of soldiers of the Red Army, a collection of awards and insignia of the Third Reich, sculpture and painting.

During mass events, reconstructions of historical events are carried out, elements of theatricalization are used.

Hall of Nature.

Since ancient times, the Klichevsky region has been famous for its natural resources. There are 26 lakes and 29 rivers on the territory of the district. The forest cover of the district is 60%. The district occupies the first place in the region in terms of the area of specially protected natural territories. They make up 16% of the district's territory and 25% of the area of specially protected areas of the region. The hydrological reserve "Islands of Duleba" has become a real home for representatives of flora, a natural monument of republican significance. 705 species of higher vascular plants, 170 species of animals and 118 species of birds have been registered on its territory. The exhibition presents taxidermic sculptures of animals and birds living in forests and swamps of the Klichevsky region.

Winter garden.

At the beginning of the twentieth century. on the Klichev lands there was such a phenomenon as a winter garden. He was a wonderful feature of the estate of the landowner Nezabytovsky. Among a large number of exotic plants, surrounded by art and antiques, the local nobility had a pleasant time: they listened to music and arranged balls. The winter garden of the museum presents authentic collectibles of the late XIX- early XX century: samples of furniture, musical instruments, dishes, watches, edged weapons, typewriters, etc.

The distinctive feature that makes the Klichevsky Museum unlike other local history museums is the presence of an apothecary's garden, where about 100 types of various medicinal, spicy-aromatic and ornamental plants are "registered".

The museum has organized the sale of souvenirs.
