Cathedral of Saints Cyril and Lawrence of Turov
For several centuries, Turov continued to be a cathedral city and the question of building a new cathedral was raised repeatedly. At the beginning of the 20th century, the Holy Martyr Mitrofan, Archbishop of Minsk and Turov began the implementation of this project. Funds were raised for the construction of the temple, but the outbreak of the First World War, the Bolshevik coup, the civil war and terror delayed the saint's undertaking for a century.

On November 5, 2009, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, during a reception at the Patriarchal Residence in Moscow of His Grace Stephen, Bishop of Turov and Mozyr, blessed the construction of the cathedral in Turov in honor of Saints Kirill and Lawrence of Turov.
On May 11, 2010, Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk laid the foundation stone of the future cathedral.
On May 11, 2011, His Eminence, Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, consecrated crosses on the domes of the cathedral assembly under construction.

August 5 – 6, 2011 in the city of Turov, Zhitkovichi district, the raising of domes and crosses on the cathedral under construction in honor of Saints Cyril and Lawrence of Turov in the city of Turov took place.
On May 11, 2012, His Eminence Filaret, Metropolitan of Minsk and Slutsk, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, laid the foundation of the bell tower, the cathedral complex under construction in honor of Saints Cyril and Lawrence of Turov in the city of Turov.

On May 11, 2013, the solemn consecration of the cathedral in honor of Saints Cyril and Lawrence of Turov took place.
The consecration of the cathedral and the Liturgy with the blessing of the Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, Metropolitan Filaret of Minsk and Slutsk, were led by the Managing Director of the Belarusian Orthodox Church, Archbishop Guriy of Novogrudok and Lida. His Eminence was co-served by Archbishop Ambrose of Chernigov and Novgorod-Seversky, Bishop Sophrony of Mogilev and Mstislav, Bishop Stefan of Gomel and Zhlobin, Bishop Leonid of Turov and Mozyr, Bishop Veniamin of Borisov and the clergy of the dioceses of the Belarusian Exarchate.
