Chizhovka-Arena

Not so long ago, namely in the winter of 2013, a significant event took place in the Belarusian capital, thanks to which on the map of Minsk appeared another attraction, in a short period of time won popularity and love not only of city residents, but also of numerous visitors. The name of this miracle - Chizhovka-Arena, snugly located on the picturesque coast of Chizhovsky reservoir. At its core, this is a large-scale complex, characterized by an original and stylish design and prominently displayed among the typical high-rise buildings of the Chizhovka metropolitan area. The design of the building is really impressive, for it was designed by the architect Grodnikov, and it resembles two massive water droplets, smoothly flowing one into one. The glass-and-metal building causes only general admiration and is one of the top Belarusian objects where everything is held only the most high-class. Chizhovka-Arena is also a home stadium for the hockey club "Youth-Minsk".

In the grandiose complex, the Big and Small arenas of various areas, capacities and functionals, as well as sports halls and places for cultural recreation of Belarusians and foreign guests, whose modern sports facilities are in great demand, are the most important in the grandiose complex.

Among all the splendor stands out especially the Grand Arena, which serves as a venue for the most prestigious hockey matches, competitions of figure skaters and other competitions in winter sports. The most remarkable thing is that the ice arena can easily become a platform with an ordinary covering, where weightlifters or gymnasts can compete, as well as performances of popular foreign bands, many of whom come here. On the Grand Arena, there can be attended by almost nine thousand spectators overnight, there are also five hundred VIP-places for especially honorable guests.

The Small Arena is the place where regular trainings of famous athletes on ice are held, as well as mass skating. In the middle of the arena there was a place for other leisure options, from visiting slot machines and hammered strikes in bowling and ending with total relaxation in the sauna and a glass of mulled wine in a cozy cafe.

Chizhovka-Arena will appeal to lovers of shopping, because the third floor of the popular metropolitan complex is completely given to the shopping center where you can find clothes and accessories of domestic and world brands. Numerous metropolitan shops demonstrate their products here, and there is also a souvenir shop where you can buy something for memory. To get on the shopping, there is a separate entrance, so there is no need to go through the whole extensive complex. For car owners the spacious parking is perfectly functioning, and nearby there is a budget hotel "Arena", ready to accommodate everyone who decided to stay in Minsk after an outstanding concert or match.
