The American edition of US News and World Report has compiled a ranking of the best countries.

The parameters for the ranking were: tourist attractiveness of the country, climate and picturesque landscapes, cultural heritage, comfort for life, etc. Belarus was on 73rd place among 80 countries. The highest points were awarded to Belarus for openness of business and attractiveness for tourists. The journalists of the American edition noted that in Belarus “there are more than 11 thousand lakes, and the flat landscape is covered with ancient forests”. According to experts, the country-neighbor Russia took the 24th place, and Poland was not far from it - by 33 positions.
