The opening of the Museum Quarter in Minsk is scheduled for May 2020. The complex will combine 4 buildings of the National Art Museum. Between the houses there will be transitions and a common courtyard. Work on the creation of the Museum Quarter in Minsk began in 2010. 

Work on the facade of the building on Karl Marx Street has already been completed. At the moment, the interior is decorating. Its opening is scheduled to coincide with the Victory Day. Then the construction teams will begin work on the museum building on the st. Kirov 25. Works on the construction of the museum quarter will be completed with the reconstruction of the main building of the museum on the st. Lenin.
