The Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus plans to unite the visa-free zones of the Brest and Grodno regions.

The increase in the number of travelers in the tourist and recreational zone "Brest" and the tourist and recreational park "Augustow Canal" was the reason for the active development of the infrastructure of visa-free regions. At the moment there is a demand of tourists for cycling and hiking routes.

Since the beginning of the year, Grodno region was visited by about 30 thousand tourists, Brest - about 5 thousand. The growth of the tourist flow was facilitated by an increase in visa-free stay in zones up to 10 days.
