Since November 10, the Volkovysk district, where the famous Belarusian Maldives are located, has entered into the expanded visa-free zone. Since then the tourists' interest in spending holidays in Belarusian health resorts has grown, because now they can stay in Belarus without a visa up to 15 days. OAO Krasnoselskstroymaterialy declared its readiness to equip the Maldives so that tourists could visit them without any hindrance.

Now it is impossible to stay on the territory of the chalk quarries near Volkovysk officially. Ponds are technical, swimming in them is prohibited due to the steep slopes and big depth. Nevertheless, the Belarusian Maldives constantly attract tourists, because truly magical photographs are obtained here. Unfortunately, so far the innovation will concern only organized tourist groups. It is still forbidden to stay on the territory of the chalk quarries for others.
