Underwater archaeological research is being conducted in the Braslav region. As part of the Monastery Island project, divers found 24 piles that remained from the bridge. The age of the find is calculated in several centuries: according to preliminary data, he is at least five hundred years old!
It is assumed that the bridge had a rather complex structure and a large length. Now scientists call the following figures: it was about 100 meters long and about two meters wide. It is also believed that the archaeological find may be located at the bottom of Lake Nespish, in the thickness of silt. If the assumption is confirmed, it is planned to organize the lifting of the bridge up (provided that it is possible to collect the necessary funds for this).
