On June 10, an agreement on mutual visa-free regime for the citizens of Belarus and China was signed in the Chinese city of Qingdao. The agreement was concluded following the results of negotiations between the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the leader of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping.

Approximately the regime will come into force from the autumn of 2018. Belarusians will be able to stay in China for up to 30 days for 1 trip and up to 90 days a year.
