The Belarusian city of Brest got into the list of little-known places worth visiting in 2019.

The American magazine PureWow has compiled a list of little-known places that it recommends to visit in 2019. There are 19 cities in the list at all. According to the publication, Brest is unfairly deprived of attention by tourists. The magazine writes that it will be interesting for history buffs to visit the Brest Fortress and the Berestye archeology museum. They also mention the national cuisine, citing potato porridge as an example. What exactly is this dish, and where you can try it in the city, do not specify. Together with Brest, Bhutan, Seward (Alaska), Xian (China), Merida (Mexico) and others are on the list too.
