The building of Minsk History Museum is only the beginning of an exciting journey. The Museum complex consists of eight most interesting objects. In 2014 after restoration was opened the first branch of the Museum – the outhouse of Loshitsa manor and park complex, built in the 18th century.
The heyday of the estate fell on the time of living here Eustathius Lyubansky and his wife Jadwiga. The married couple was notable for exemplary hospitality and did everything to keep the residence in a perfect condition: the expensive interior, luxurious exterior decoration and a lovely garden for which Lyubansky often brought new foreign plants and grew absolutely new types, having started Belarusian selection. However, the Lyubanskies became the last owners of Loshitsa estate. According to legend, Jadwiga died by very mysterious circumstances, after that Eustathius left the rich estate.
Loshitsa estate has stood in the wings for a long time. Over the years the building fell into ruin and was completely reconstructed only in 2015. In the Museum “Loshitsa estate” you will see objects of the noble life of the 18-19th centuries, personal belongings and furniture of the Lyubanskies, and also you will be able to visit the exhibition “The Wheel of Time”, located in the outbuilding.
