You will see the most valuable architectural monuments of the city: Cathedral Orthodox and Catholic Churches of the ХVII-XVIII centuries; St. Peter and St. Paul's Church of the beginning of ХVII century and the "Red" Church; the oldest street Nemiga which started its way from the Minsk castle, and the picturesque Upper Town. The historic centre of Minsk – the Upper Town – attracts the visitors with its unique atmosphere of the past which is felt in its old buildings and on its narrow streets wh ere museums, cafes and restaurants, boutiques and sculptures are located. 9.00 Excursion «World of Belarusian Townships». Located in 120 km from Minsk Budslav town is a National Sanctuary. And this fame was brought to him by a monumental temple - the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary Ascension (XVII-XVIII cc.) with the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary, to which tens of thousands of pilgrims from Belarus and neighboring countries flock annually. The church, officially recognized by the Vatican in 1994 as the "Little Basilica", amazes the imagination with the grandeur of its lavish baroque forms, the abundance of decor, grizzly paintings, and the wooden altar of the 17th century is an authentic pearl of sacred arts and crafts.
Further, crossing the border of the Minsk and Vitebsk regions, we get to Glubokoye, located above the five lakes! This small city has a rich history that counts 6 centuries and comes to life in familiarity with the monuments of architecture that form the silhouette of its historical center. This is the Orthodox Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin and the parish Trinity Church - both of them from the XVII century and show us the riot of exquisite forms of the Vilna Baroque. Visit to the Orthodox Cathedral of the Virgin Nativity. Crepting upwards the tower of the cathedral, you will enjoy beautiful scenery with many lakes from a bird's-eye view, and descending into the dungeon, you will see traces of the history of the XVII century! It is immortalized here: Josef Korsak - patron of the deepest temples, Yazep Drozdovich - artist, folklorist, writer, Ignat Buynitsky - founder of the Belarusian theater, Vaclav Lastovsky - Prime Minister of the Belarusian People's Republic. And finally, Mosar. Earlier it was the estate of the Bzhestovskys. From their manor the church of St. Anna remained, being a monument of classicism architecture of the late XVIII century. An excursion along Zabrodye's route — Sula — Rubezhevichi. The first point — the village of Zabrodye which is in 100 km. At the beginning of the tour you are met with horse riding by equestrian riders in historical costumes. Immersion in the medieval history of Belarus, when Belarus was called the country of castles, occurs during the interactive participation in the construction of the castle (splitting of stones). Then a visit to the gunsmith's workshop - forging a cold weapon and demonstrating a saber battle. Next, your eyes will open the majestic building of the Royal Assembly, where you will see the hall of chivalry with a collection of tapestries and paintings; attracts attention and is truly a royal-sized fireplace. Performing musical works on bagpipe-dude and harmonium of the 18th century, learning the dance will add color to the excursion. Further we go to the former place Rubezhevichi, known from the XIII century. The name Rubezhevichi comes from the word "boundary" - the place has repeatedly appeared at the border of one or another state. In the Middle Ages there was the eastern border of Lithuania; and until 1939 the Rubezheviches stretched the border between Poland and the Soviet Union. In Rubezhevychy there is an old pharmacy of medicinal herbs, called the Belarusian phytotherapy Mecca. Here is preserved the ancient Jewish cemetery, restored by the whole world - with the participation of US students. Folded out of limestone carvings and proudly set on a hillock, the 2-tower St. Joseph's Church immediately captures the attention of visitors. Organ composition in its walls will complete our journey into the past, open to the present day.
Return to Minsk around 5 pm. Leaving things in the storage room at the train station (if you have a train late), free time can be spent at the Galileo shopping and entertainment center, 100 meters from the station. Going home is a happy journey!
