Excursion to Polotsk
Excursion starts with a picturesque panoramic view of Western Dvina
Polotsk - the patriarch of the Belarusian land
According to the testimony of archaeologists, the load of one and a half millennia carries it up to now on its shoulders! The monuments of Polotsk stand as immortal scenery to the already resounded scenes from the play created by history and create a complete picture of centuries-old Russian history.
During the tour of the city you will get acquainted with the magnificent St. Sophia Cathedral. For nine and a half centuries, it was buzzing around the walls of this cathedral, which was erected at the height of the Polotsk Region. Today this renewed church (museum and concert hall at the same time) is a stone epigraph to the centuries-old history of Belarus. Excursion to the museum of the temple, the descent into the cave.
An excursion to the Museum of Printing
Then inspect the exposition of the Museum of Printing in the buildings of the ancient Epiphany Monastery. The museum is dedicated to the book in all its aspects, ranging from the first handwritten scrolls to the modern book, introduces visitors to the history of writing, book illustration, printing, the activities of the first printer Francysk Skaryna.
Saint Euphrosyne Monastery is the next point of the route
The Saint Euphrosyne Monastery was founded in the XII century and keeps the relics of St. Euphrosyne of Polotsk, as well as a copy of the legendary cross, which disappeared without a trace during the hard years. The pearl of the monastery, and indeed of all Belarusian architecture, is the ancient Spaso-Preobrazhenskaya Church - one of the oldest in Belarus, built in 1156.

Excursion to Nanosy-Novoselye Ethnocultural Complex.
It is includes visit of the most picturesque sites of Belarus. Nanosy-Novoselye complex is located on the shores of Lake Naroch – the largest lake of our country and the "pearl" of this region. This is one of the most remarkable places of Belarus due to its amazing landscapes, rich flora and fauna, diverse landforms. The visit of the complex will let you be wrapped in the atmosphere of the previous times – here they managed to recreate the everyday life of the rural living of the 19th century. Dozens of authentically decorated wooden houses represent all the advantages of living close to nature. Watermill and wind mill, horse performance, museum of "samovars", hooch stills exposition – the excursion will really impress you!

Drive fr om Minsk to Mir. You will see the most valuable monuments of Belarus listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites – Mir and Nesvizh Castles. The majestic Mir Castle built in the 16th century, its bright architectural look, mighty walls and towers, colorful courtyard leave a lasting impression which will be complemented by the Museum Exposition inside the castle. The exposition is represented by the material culture of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, hunting trophies, suits of armour, household items.
Our excursion to the Mir castle will starts from the historic part.
The last titled owners of the castle were the Svyatopolk-Mirsky Family. We will see the rooms and studies wh ere the members of the family worked and lived.
The next part is the animated excursion.
Our museum guides playing the role of historical characters and dressed in historical costumes will tell us about the life of the Radziwill Family, demonstrate us the confirmation of their ancient lineage and military glory. The highlight of the excursion around the Portrait Hall of the castle is a dance of the Prince Karol Stanislaw Radziwill and his wife Maria Liubomirskaya – and then a dance workshop for everyone!
We continue our excursion and go downstairs.
We go to the basement wh ere food stocks and wine storages were located. Jadwiga, the wife of the chef, will be your guide during this excursion including tastings of traditional food and alcoholic drinks.

We will visit the exposition of the south-west tower of the castle.
Walking through the defensive towers will let you feel like a warrior. Alongside the castle there is the chapel of the Svyatopolk-Mirsky family built in the beginning of the 20th century. The historic part of the small town of Mir – the place wh ere Belarusians, Poles, Jews, Gipsies and Tartars had been living together for a long time – kept the atmosphere of the former small town. The ensemble of the market place is formed by the Orthodox and Catholic Churches, synagogues, Yeshiva, the houses of craftsmen and merchants.

Nesvizh is the former capital of the Radziwill’s Ordination, one of the most high-powered families of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.

We are heading to the Nesvizh Castle Complex of the 16-18th centuries designed by the Italian architect Giovanni Maria Bernardoni by order of Nickolay Christoph Radziwill "Sirotka". The magnificent castle surrounded by high earthworks and wide ponds represents the system of buildings forming the tasteful court of honor. During our visit of the Palace Museum you will see the impressive expositions composed of a vast number of relics, great halls of the palace, living and housekeeping areas. The great palace halls will impress you by their valuable sets of the artworks, weapons, coins. After the lunch we continue our excursion walking through picturesque parks adjacent to the palace which were founded in the 19th century by Maria de Castellano Radziwill.
