The introduction of a visa-free regime has made Belarus even more attractive for tourists. A huge number of attractions in cities and villages of the country attracts visitors not only from neighboring countries, but also from abroad. Someone, like Estonians, goes to Belarus to enjoy industrial tourism, someone is attracted by agro-tourism, for example, in the famous Dudutki and Nanosy. Foreigners rest in Belarusian sanatoriums and attend cultural events of the country.

The opportunity to visit Belarus without a visa led to the fact that the tourist flow in 2018 compared with 2017 increased by 30%. Experts estimate that since the beginning of this year, more than 30 thousand tourists have visited Grodno without a visa. Last year, during this time, the number of visitors amounted to 13.4 thousand visa-free tourists. In total, the tourist flow of visa-free tourists to Grodno has more than doubled. These are mainly visitors from neighboring countries: Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany. Almost half, 40% of them stay in the city for 2-3 days. It is not surprising, because in Grodno there are a lot of beautiful and interesting places! Remind that due to the increase in tourist flow in Grodno it is planned to open new accommodation facilities, as well as revise the boundaries of visa-free stay.
