In connection with the construction of the city-forming enterprise "Belarusian Cement Plant" in Kostyukovichi, the population has increased markedly. There was a need to open a second parish. On the outskirts of the city, near the central city cemetery (Fedorovka village), by the decision of the district executive committee, the newly created community was given a civil room for free use, subsequently transformed and converted into a temple. The church is wooden, lined with brick, three-domed, single-altar. The church was consecrated by His Grace, His Grace Sophronius, Bishop of Mogilev and Mstislav on July 22, 2007, in honor of the Holy Equal–to-the-Apostles Mary Magdalene, in order to preserve the memory of that wooden church, which for several decades was the only spiritual hearth of the Kostyukov region.
