A large eight–pointed star embedded in the paving stones, the rays of which point to Minsk, Warsaw, Vilnius, Novogorod, Moscow, Rome, St. Petersburg and Kiev is not only a geographical pointer, but also the place where the city spruce is installed on New Year's holidays.
