Museum of Belarusian statehood, Minsk

The Museum of Belarusian statehood was created at the request of the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. It was opened in a solemn ceremony in 2012. The basic concept of the Museum is the recognition of the Republic of Belarus as a sovereign state. The area of the Museum is more than 600 square meters, and the exposition consists of 5 halls.

The exhibition covers the time period from 1990 to the present day. It reflected the first presidential elections, and the formation of the state. There are stands that are devoted to the state symbols. Mandatory in the exhibition is a reflection of the achievements of science, industry, education, medicine, agriculture, etc.

The Museum exposition begins with reviewing all the coats of arms of cities of Belarus. An interesting feature is the fact that the expositions are accompanied by multimedia presentations. So, in order to learn the history of creation of Belarusian coats of arms, a film Studio "Belarusfilm" has created a series of cartoons on this subject that are shown in the Museum. In addition, in the first hall you can get acquainted with the sights of the Republic and Minsk city.

The second hall is devoted to the history of Belarus. It is possible to familiarize with the materials of the first Presidential elections, told the stages of formation of sovereign Republic. The origin of the hall history leads since 1990. Separate stands are dedicated to the national currency, the national security system, state awards. There are presented coupons and cards as attributes of the last century.

The third hall is a conference hall. It is possible to hold conferences, meetings, sessions. Hall capacity is– up to 20 people. As in the exhibition hall, there you can show art work, paintings.

In the fourth hall there are presented the achievements of science, medicine, education, culture, sports and media. Among all exhibits, and to the more than 300, you can see the layout of the Ostrovets nuclear power plant, "Vertilishki" Township, decorative stones, grown Belarusian scientists. Also there are models of architectural monuments, among which not the least is the layout of the National library. In this room is the highlight: when the guide says, is that the exhibit in question. Therefore, the visitors ' attention is not dissipated to other exhibits.

The final hall of the Museum dedicated to the ethno-religious situation in the Republic of Belarus and the international relations of our Republic with other States. Here you can see Belarusian national clothes, which is presented so that it is possible to trace distinctive features over time, and to see the features of clothing for each region of Belarus.

In this hall also is gathered the gifts that were presented to the President of the Republic of Belarus.
