The war left a deep mark in the heart of every man, so the idea of opening such an important Museum was supported by all the people and put into practice in June 1942. The Museum of the Second World War in Minsk: the history of creation

Striking in its scope the complex was built on Heroes ' square, and in 2010 the President of Belarus laid a capsule with a message, which indicates the main purpose of the opening of the Museum of the great Patriotic war – to create not just an interesting sight of Minsk but national symbol of heroism, of valor, of glory.

Look at the gold cube with the capsule on the first floor of the Museum. For ease of movement around the complex, have an interactive terminal with a layout of ten exhibition halls.
