The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in the village of Makarovtsy
The Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross was built in 1795 from wood without a single metal nail or fastening. The temple was built at the expense of Ludvik and Constance Pantserzhinsky, owners of the Usnar Wooden estate, not far from their estate. Originally it was a branch of the Bender Church of the Most Holy Trinity, then it became the parafial church of the Snarsky Parafia. In 1995, parishioners solemnly celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Makarovsky Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, which has continuously served the faithful since 1795.
