The Uruchie Sports Palace and recreation complex was opened in 1976 as a small athletics army arena. At that time, athletics competitions were held at the site and hosted volleyball, handball, futsal and futsal tournaments.

In 2010, the complex was closed for renovation, which lasted more than five years. The official opening of the reconstructed playpen was held in February 2016. Together with the transformation, the complex received a new name - The Uruchie Sports Palace.

Structure

Today the complex is a unique multifunctional sports and leisure facility in which you can hold various national and international competitions of various levels.

The complex consists of three main sites:

  • the main gaming arena with a capacity of 3,000 seats
  • sports training ground with stands for three hundred places
  • and badminton hall.

The main arena of the complex is equipped with modern sound, lighting and broadcasting equipment that meets international requirements.

The playing arena and sports arena are used both for competitions and for training national teams, sports clubs, training processes in handball, basketball, volleyball, futsal and badminton. In addition, the grounds of the complex provide for the possibility of training tennis players.

The infrastructure of the sports complex also includes a medical rehabilitation center, a press center, a gym, a bowling center and a restaurant.

The recovery center consists of two saunas, a swimming pool, a relaxation room and a massage room - it is designed to treat and restore members of national teams and sports teams in various sports. The strength training hall is equipped with modern professional cardio and weight training equipment.
