Exhibition of paintings by the poetess Galina Nechaeva in Gomel

In the palace of the Rumyantsev-Paskevichs, you can see paintings by the poetess Galina Nechaeva.

The exhibition presented both finished paintings and sketches of the author. The master created them during a trip to the Gomel region, Crimea and the northern part of Russia.

Some of Nechaeva's paintings are devoted to nature – these are still lifes and landscapes in gentle colours. Others are a figment of the author's imagination – horses galloping in bright whirlpools of light, a cheerful girl among flowers and plants, sirens and other mythological creatures.
