Learn more about African traditions at the Grodno Museum

The Museum of the History of Religion in Grodno introduces an unusual exposition Discovering Africa: Beliefs, Rituals, Traditions.

Guests will be able to see unusual works of art, household items, traditional weapons, musical instruments, ritual masks and theatrical puppets. One can learn more about the culture of the peoples of the African continent, customs, and beliefs. Learn how the initiation ceremony was held, how brave warriors chose a bride, what they did if the harvest did not please, what they taught children from an early age.
