On Sunday, the Belarusian State Museum of Architecture and Life will host a military festival Unfinished Lesson: Forgotten Pages of Belarusian History. The museum is located in Ozertso village near Minsk.
Spectators are invited to enjoy the reconstruction of the battle between Russian and German troops during the Sventyansky Breakthrough (1915), wander around the field camp of the Russian army, learn how to handle a bayonet using the Mosin rifle as an example, a saber and even throwing grenades. Training will be conducted only on mock-ups of weapons and ammunition. In addition, it will be possible to take part in excursions to the locations of the museum, practice shooting from weapons of those times, see an exhibition of old photographs and the Red Cross hospital, take pictures with the legendary Maxim machine gun and much more.
The festival starts at 11:00 and ends at 16:00. Entrance is paid: for adults — 15 BYN, for pupils of schools and colleges, as well as students — 6. Children of preschool age are admitted free of charge.
If you have no opportunity to attend the event on April 25, you can come to the dress rehearsal on April 24. It will start at 15:00 and end at 18:30 and will cost a little less: adults — 10 BYN, students — 4 BYN.
