This year, the city of Lida became the 11th city to receive prestigious status - the cultural capital of Belarus. On February 21, a gala concert was held on the stage of the Palace of Culture in Lida, which gave the start of the republican action "The Cultural Capital of Belarus - 2020". During the concert were presented different episodes of the history of the city. The ceremonial program was preceded by an exhibition of cultural features and achievements of Lida. It united the past and present of the city, offering guests an interactive journey through one of its oldest streets.
