Belarus’s efforts to develop tourism were assessed by the UNWTO

UNWTO General Ambassador Jaime Alberto Cabal Sanclemente stated that the World Tourism Organization appreciates the efforts of Belarus to develop tourism.
Remind that Belarus took a number of measures to attract foreign tourists:
The visa policy has been liberalized.
The possibility of a 30-day visa-free stay in the country was introduced.
The possibility of visa-free entry into Belarus for participants and guests of the European Games
Belarus is taking active steps to attract foreign tourists. Recently, Belarus’s tourism opportunities were announced at the largest tourist attraction in Europe - ITB Berlin. At the beginning of the year, an image video about Belarus, developed jointly by Euronews, the creative agency Contented and the Directorate of the II European Games, was launched on the TV channel Euronews. In April, the European Games will be presented at the UN headquarters.
The results of hard work in attracting tourists to Belarus are very high. So Belarus entered the ranking of the best countries of the world according to the US edition of the US News and World Report.
Highly praised Belarus and the chief editor of National Geographic Israel, which recently visited with journalists in the country in order to gather material for a large review article about Belarus.
