Ukraine will organize three locations for tourists in the Chernobyl zone

Ukrainian authorities said they are going to start creating three tourist sites in Pripyat in the near future.

A museum in honor of a Soviet fire-fighter-hero will appear in his apartment. Vladimir Pravik was the head of the fire brigade, which was one of the first to arrive at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant after the accident. An observation deck will be created on the roof of a 16-storey residential building, and stained-glass windows will be saved for tourists in the city cafe. Interestingly, the authorities do not intend to rebuild anything, the main idea is to save the selected objects intact.

Also, the Ukrainian authorities plan to preserve other locations in Pripyat. The work is aimed at increasing the tourist attractiveness of the exclusion zone.
