Over the entire period of the existence of a visa-free regime on May 9, 2019, Belarus was visited by 230,460 visa-free tourists. The visa-free regime for tourists from 80 countries was introduced on February 12, 2017. At first it was five days, on July 27, 2018 it was extended to 30 days.

The introduction of a visa-free regime had a very favorable effect on the tourist attractiveness of Belarus. Visitor traffic is constantly growing. Earlier we already wrote about the increase in tourist traffic to Belarus and the weekly record of the Grodno region. In March, the WTO welcomed the efforts of Belarus to develop tourism in the country.
