Minsk summed up the results of the Republican tourist contest "Know Belarus".

During the summing up of the year in the tourism industry, the winners were determined in several categories. 

In the nomination “the best sanatorium” the award was given to “Borovoe" Of the presidential administration. The resort is located in the Vitebsk region, near the Berezinsky biosphere reserve. The business card of the health resort is its own source of mineral water, which is used for drinking and balneotherapy.

The winners in other nominations were also determined:

• nomination "travel company of the year" - " Mogilevoblturist";
• nomination "photographer of the year" - Dmitry Zinkevich;
• nomination "the best hotel of the highest price category (4 and 5 stars) - branch" Victoria Olympus hotel " business center "Capital";
• nomination "best farmstead” - "Valeria”;
• nomination "Internet media of the year" - BELTA et al.

The contest "Know Belarus" is held by the Ministry of sports and tourism together with the National tourism Agency. It is designed to promote the development of domestic and inbound tourism, consolidate the efforts of government agencies, organizations, individuals engaged in the tourism industry, to create the image of Belarus as a favorable country for tourism, as well as to promote the achievements of the tourism industry.

In 2017, the contest "Know Belarus" won the VETLIVA project as the best tourist project of the year.
