The state plans for 2019 include material support for the restoration of one of the attractions of Brest – Kossovo Castle. For this purpose, about Br5 million will be allocated from the regional and republican budgets.
The funds will be directed to the execution of internal works in the castle, the continuation of the laying of utilities and the improvement of the adjacent territory. During the restoration works, the castle will be divided into three parts: a hotel, a community center and a cafe.
The restoration works of the Kossovo castle were begun in 2008. By 2020 it is planned to finish them and open the castle for visitors.
Kossovo Castle or the Palace of Puslovsky in Kossovo is called the architectural pearl of Belarus of the 19th century. It is one of the three most popular tourist attractions in the Brest region.
