On November 25, 2018, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2018 was held in Minsk.

The first place this year was taken by a 13-year-old girl from Poland, Roxana Wengel, with the song Anyone I Want To Be. The composition was performed partly in English, partly in Polish. Overall Roxana scored 215 points. A few years ago, Vengel became the winner in one competition: the girl received the first place in the Polish version of “Voice".

Daniel Yastremsky, who presented Belarus at the competition, received 114 points and took 11th place. The representative of our country was given a maximum of 12 points by Armenia. Many foreign information resources noted the complexity and beauty of the performance in technical terms.

The guests of the capital who witnessed the grand event noted not only the amazing design of the concert hall, but also the cleanliness and beauty of Minsk.
