Booking a seat on a flight has long been practised by most air airlines in the world for a long time. In test mode, the national Belarusian airline Belavia offers to try out a new service. The option can be used both during the ticket purchase process and after its completion (until 24 hours are left before the departure). The new service is available only to passengers departing to/from these cities:

• Almaty,

• Ashgabat,

• Baku,

• Batumi,

• Tbilisi,

• Nur Sultan,

• Yerevan,

• Barcelona,

• Larnaca,

• Geneva,

• London,

• Paris.

In the future, it is planned to introduce this option on an ongoing basis in all areas served by the company. The cost of a preliminary reservation ranges from 5 to 30 euros. It can be used for free by participants of the Belavia Leader program of the gold level, as well as by travellers with business class tickets. The full-scale implementation of this option will subsequently offer lower prices and at the same time expand the service package.
