According to BelTA, Minsk authorities decided to equip both bridges over the Svisloch River near Yanka Kupala Street and Independence Avenue. Additional coverage of bridges is included in the city's preparation plan for the upcoming II European Games of 2019, which will be held in Belarus from June 21 to 30, 2019.
The head of Mingorsvet Slavomir Grinevich said that it is also planned to organize additional architectural lighting of the facades of buildings, install new light figures with the symbols of games at the entrances to the capital, near the railway station and near the Dynamo stadium. The estimated completion date is March 31.
