Minsk and Tashkent strive to become half-brothers

A representative of the Minsk City Executive Committee in April met with a delegation from Tashkent Hokimiyat. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the further development of relations between the two cities. Relations between the cities have become much closer since 2018 and the representative of Belarus expressed the hope that the cities will become sister cities in the future.

Tashkent is also interested in Minsk: its tourist and sports potential is also of interest to the developments of Belarus in the fields of education and health.

Artem Tsuran, a representative of the Minsk City Executive Committee, reminded his Tashkent colleagues about the Days of Culture that are traditionally held in the Upper Town in the capital and invited them to take part in one of the events.
