It is planned that Belarusians will start receiving biometric passports and ID cards from January 1, 2021. The ID-card will replace Belarusians with a paper passport and provide access to many services of state structures. As soon as the new documents are working, our country will start negotiations with other states on the fact that Belarusians can travel on these documents. 

Externally, the ID-card will resemble a bank card, it has two photos (color and black and white).
