The Minsk Cycling Society and the traffic police are developing a project to introduce a bicycle strip on the roadway.

Bicycle traffic in Belarus develops from year to year. In 2011, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate of Minsk started working on the development of the concept of convenient cycling in the city. Within the framework of the project, bicycle paths on the sidewalks of the city and cycling through the roadway were singled out.

However, despite the provision of bicycles for traffic on the sidewalks, they are often violated rules, and amateurs drive to the roadway. At the moment GAI is developing a project to introduce a bicycle strip on the roadway. The project will take into account the interests of all road users: motorists, pedestrians and cyclists.
