Children from Syria will arrive in Belarus for recovery in May-June 2019. The Belarusian side plans to take about 500 children. This was announced by Syrian Ambassador to Belarus Yuri Sluka.

In addition, Belarus sent humanitarian aid to Syria. Humanitarian aid included products, medicines, as well as special equipment, the purpose of which is to help in the restoration of the country's economy. This is not the first humanitarian aid sent by Belarus to Syria.

Belarus continues to actively cooperate with Syrian partners.
