Belarus will send Br2 million to repair the Monument of Friendship in the border area of ​​the Gomel, Chernihiv and Bryansk regions. The money will be spent on the repair of the monument and the landscaping of the territory adjacent to it. A sketch of the future landscaping was developed by the Gomel Institute Gomelgrazhdanproekt.

The Monument of Friendship was erected in 1975 in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Victory over the troops of the fascist invaders. It is a construction of three white pylons of 23 meters each, surrounded by a concrete ring. On each pylon there is a coat of arms and an ornament of the country to which it is turned. The monument was called the Three Sisters among the people.
