Film studios of Belarus and Uzbekistan have agreed to work together on the film Oijamol. The film is timed to the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory. The basis for the film was a documentary novel by Bukhadyr Umarzakov, which tells about a simple resident of the Uzbek village, the mother of three sons. The action will take place from 1935 to 1991. The film is based on real events and tells about the difficult fate of people who lived in different countries that were part of the USSR.
The cast will include Uzbek and Belarusian actors. The film’s premiere is planned to be shown on Victory Day in 2020 in both countries at the same time.
